Jacob Collier (born 1994) is a British composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist, known for his intricate multi-layered harmonies and pitch-perfect technique.

Collier was born in North London and starred in classical and musical productions including “A Christmas Carol” and “The Taming of the Shrew”. He came to wider prominence after a series of online videos of his acapella reharmonizations of jazz and pop standards. Since then he has been mentored by Quincy Jones and Herbie Hancock and received wide critical acclaim, among being the first British artist to win a Grammy Award for each of his first four albums, including the first three “Djesse” volumes. Collier also teaches his unique harmonic approach in lectures and classes.
